Last minute Christmas wish list

So, I may have left it rather late to make a Christmas list this year. I’m blaming having a horrible bug, being crazy-busy at work, and getting married, but actually I’m just very bad at making decisions. I’ve finally managed to get together some lovely things that would be marvellous to find under the tree and that are all relatively easy to get hold of quickly.

pp-quad_golden-goddess_1First up is the gorgeous Golden Goddess palette from the ever-glamourous Charlotte Tilbury. It was a toss-up between this one and Dolce Vita but the slightly cooler tones in this one appeal to me. The glitter shade in the bottom left-hand corner is theoretically the ‘Pop’ shade, to delicately press into the middle of the lid, but I see no reason why you couldn’t smear it all over until you resemble a tree decoration – Christmas ain’t for subtlety.

Find it here for £38.

Next we have this wee fella. Yes, I’m 32 and yes, I’ve just got married but that doesn’t mean I can’t yearn for a rose gold bunny to hold my rings on its adorable little ears. If rabbits aren’t your thing, his mates include an elephant, a giraffe, and reindeer.

You can find the elephant and giraffe here for £14, and I’ve seen the bunny in Fenwick recently for £9.50.

I love cashmere, I love dark red, and I love being warm, so it seems as if this cashmere snood in Claret was made for me. We’ll just overlook the fact that I have  one neck and approx. eleventy nine scarves, shall we? This just looks so snuggly, and there’s something rather ridiculous-but-elegant about a snood; this one is like a super cosy neck support.

It’s from John Lewis here for £50 (although until midnight tonight they have 20% off cashmere – run!)

Lisa Eldridge has one of my favourite blogs and YouTube channels, and is just a bloody brilliant makeup artist. I love that her first book, Face Paint, isn’t a how-to guide but is an extensively researched history of makeup, with stunning photographs and illustrations. She’s a great writer and I can’t wait to curl up with this (if I can stop Mr Mouse stealing it).

Find it here for £18.99.

Last but definitely not least we have Cary from the recently re-released Lips and Boys collection of mini lipsticks from Tom Ford. I already have Collin, which is the same shade as Indian Rose from the permanent line, and absolutely love him. Cary is like his slightly bolder cousin, and is the same as Casablanca. They’re still stupidly spendy but, unusually for smaller sizes, they’re the same price g for g as the full sizes, making them a great way to try the formula without splashing out £38…

Find him and his pals here for £27.

Do you like any of my rather random collection? Have you finished all of your shopping yet?
